Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system. Every week 50 adults receive a medical diagnosis for MS that will change their life forever. Which means every day 7 people face the incredible challenge of living with an unpredictable and often devistating disease that may eventually rob them of significant physical and mental abilities, their livelihoods and their independence.

I have picked MS to raise money for during the whole of 2004 and my aim is to raise over £2000 for their cause. Events I am planning include a car boot sale, the 'odd' exercise class, a squash match against my MD (with added exhibition games by top ASRC club players), running in the Great North Run and last but not least the New York Marathon. The challenge with the marathon being to beat the 5hrs 18mins I took to finish the 2003 London one!

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
