A New Fundraising Event

UPDATE: I have reached the £500 goal so I will be doing the zip-line in a Princess Leia Gold Bikini.  I'm off to do some sit-ups.

UPDATE: If I raise £500 I will do it in a Princess Leia Gold Bikini costume.

I have signed up for the The Wire on May 4th (Star Wars Day incidentally), which is one of the UK's longest, tallest and fastest zip slides, running the 700 metre length of the Quarry.

I will launch myself from the cliff edge and speed along the length of the 80m-deep flooded quarry. Reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour!

My Story:

Last year my wife, Caroline, was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after many years of strange illnesses.  She has been so positive in dealing with this life-altering news and part of this is down to the support and guidance from MS Cymru and the Twocann Tuesday group. 

As a thank you to the MS Society, we are undertaking a number of fundraising activities in the coming year such as fundraising events, sponsored challenges and more which we will let you know about.  If we can raise money for MS Cymru doing something, we will give it a go.  Plus if anybody has any suggestions for fundraising activities, please let me know.
