I'm cycling from London to Paris in September with VoucherCodes.co.uk to raise money for Independent Age, a charity that supports older people across the UK and Ireland.

Having lost two grandparents in the last year, both of whom lived alone for the majority of the latter stages of their lives, Independent Age is a charity that represents a cause close to my heart - ensuring that the elderly remain connected with the outside world.

The total cycle covers about 180 miles and lasts around three days with breaks. For anyone who knows me, you'll know how lazy I am and therefore realise how deserving this feat is of sponsorship, if the charity wasn't good enough. I am aiming to raise around £500 so any and all donations are welcome.
