My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Kyle Stokoe and I was born at 26 weeks - that's 3 months early! - on 7th May 2011 weighing just 2lb 1oz (940grams).
I only survived such an early birth thanks to the capability, expertise and sheer hard work of the staff at the neonatal unit in Wishaw General Hospital.
To help raise money I've persuaded my Daddy (Gareth), my Uncle Graeme and my Uncle Gavin to run not only the Great North Run but also the Blaydon Race for my 3 chosen charities - the neonatal unit at Wishaw General Hospital, the drop-off centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Kids & Us.

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation supports the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh. We provide funding over and above NHS provision, to purchase vital extra's, which help to make time spent in hospital and in the community better for young patients and their families.
