Event: 62 Rounds Kumite challenge
We fund equipment and research to improve the care we give to our patients

Story

I am running a Fundraising Event at Tylers Green Village Hall on Saturday 9th September 09.30- 12.00.

As you probably know I suffered a myocardial infarction in July 2012. I received life- saving intervention in the Cardiology department of Wycombe General Hospital.Thankfully ( for me!) I survived to fight another day.

To celebrate the 5 years of a full, active and happy life since then and to thank those that helped me at my time of need and supported me through the difficult times, I aim to complete 62 x 1 minute rounds of continuous kumite ( free fighting) with students and instructors from Seido Bucks ( 1 round for each month since I fell off my perch).

Please sponsor me for this event through this page and funds raised will go to the Cardiology department at Wycombe General Hospital.

About the charity

Staying in hospital can be a difficult time for patients and their families. We improve our patients’ care through extra funding for equipment, research, staff and patient welfare. Be it a neuro-rehabilitation machine, or specialist cancer training, your support helps us to continue our work.
