Earlier this year Derriford Maternity Unit lost our much loved colleague, Charlotte D'Alessio after a lengthy battle against cancer.

Charlotte was not only a exceptional  midwife, but also a great friend  who had the ability to bring laughter and enjoyment to even the most challenging of days.

As a team of midwives, we are planning to complete the Neon Midnight Walk and raise funds for St. Luke’s Hospice, a charity who provided care and support  to Charlotte and her family.
