Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My charity that I am raising for is SACRED KNOWLEDGE (www.sacredknowledge.co.uk) SKT is a chairty based organisation set up by the students of Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi who founded Sacred knowledge.

The reason I picked Sacred knowledge (SK) is because of the immense positive impact Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi (founder of Sacred Knowledge) has had, not only in my life but on the lives of thousands of people. Shaykh Muhammad has travelled thousands of miles on a countless number of occasions to quench our spiritual thirst and guide us. The benefit is not restricted to our spiritual well being but every aspect of life. Our efforts in western academia has been boosted by the wise words and wisdoms of the Shaykh, aspiring us to be the best in what we do. In return the Shaykh has sought nothing . Sacred Knowledge has worked effortlessly to organise events not only in the U.K. but across the world so people may benefit. They have revived and coined the term 'Sacred Knowledge' which is now used far and wide. I feel it is my duty to give something back and the little I do give does not reflect the great work that SK has done and continue to do and the benefit Shaykh Muhammad has brought into our lives.

Shaykh Muhammad once said the best trade is the trade with Allah.

'Those who spend their wealth by night and day, by stealth and openly, verily their reward is with their Lord, and their shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve'. (2/274)

And our Master Sayyiduna Muhammad (Peace be upin him) said:

“When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who will pray for him.” Muslim

Mu‘aadh bin Jabal (May Allah be pleased with him) related from the Prophet (Peace be upon him) “Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)

Sacred Knowledge is an independent UK-based initiative formed in 2007 under the guidance of Shaykh al-Sayyid Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. Our primary aim is the transmission of traditional Islamic sciences through qualitative and dynamic Islamic programmes, audio CD's and books.

Objective

Our intention is to provide transformative educational opportunities by which the Prophetic legacy is brought to life. We hope that our events and media inspire people from all walks of life to emulate the beautiful character of our beloved Prophet and follow his way of living (the Sunna), may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

The Way of the Ulema

Our ethos is centred on combining knowledge with practice (‘Ilm and ‘Amal) through studying with traditional scholars; those who illuminate the principles of the people of the Prophetic way as upheld by the majority of Muslims for over 1000 years; those who embody and reflect the Prophetic light, as demonstrated in the narration, "the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets." By taking these living heirs as examples and connecting ourselves to their unbroken chains of transmission back to the original Prophetic source, we hope to establish a proximity to the Sunna which resonates and affects.

Knowledge for all

Sacred Knowledge aims to make its programmes and publications available and accessible to a global audience. Despite the costs involved in our work, we endeavour to make events and material free of charge to attendees where this is feasible. However, as an entirely volunteer-led, not-for-profit, and self-funded organisation, we would welcome donations to help facilitate our work.

Success is from Allah alone.
May Allah reward everyone who has donated thus far
