L2P for AKT (London to Paris Bike Ride for the Albert Kennedy Trust · 6 August 2009

Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+ can lead to young people being made homeless. This is the reality for 77% of the young people akt supports. We proudly offer safe homes and better futures for LGBTQ+ people aged 16-25.

Story

Hi Everyone

Thanks for coming to donate! The Albert Kennedy Trust is a brilliant charity that provides support and temporary and long-term accommodation for homeless LGBT(etc) young people. I reckon it's really worth supporting, so I'm doing this charity bike ride, cycling from London to Paris (nearly 400km) over 4 days. Help me help them by donating something (anything) through this page.

Apparently, the AKT is planning to put me on their soon to be launched new website, so you'll be able to check my progress during the bike ride (and make sure I'm doing the required cycling!) on the web... With pics. Of me in cycling shorts! (Please ignore that last bit - I don't want to put you off donating!!)

Thanks

John
