We provide an advanced trauma team to seriously injured people in London

Story

What happens when you put a pilot, several doctors, paramedics, an ex-patient, the firecrew, the CEO and some supporters in a tent in the desert for a week to compete in the "hardest footrace on earth".

We don't know, but we are about to find out.

A team from London's Air Ambulance and its supporters are attempting to complete the Marathon Des Sables in April 2018 - a gruelling 250km in 6 days, carrying your own supplies, in what Sir Ranulph Fiennes called "the hardest thing he's ever done".

Many of you might not know that London's Air Ambulance is a charity, we rely on the generosity of individuals to keep our life-saving service protecting 10m people inside the M25 on a 24x7, 365 days a year basis.

We deliver advanced trauma teams to critically injured people, and have helped over 36,000 people in our 28 years.

We've joined together to raise money for charity. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.

You can support us as a team, or you can fund individual team members, it all counts towards our goal.
