LAS CBU (Lorna's Ageing Strollers  Consider Bringing Undertakers) Incorporating the Red Hot Chilli Steppers

Thank you for visiting our page.

Thales UK is supporting the British Heart Foundation up to June 2020. We are aiming to raise £200,000 or more to help with their life saving work.

Heart Disease is the single biggest Killer in the UK. Less than 1 in 10 people survive a Cardiac Arrest out of hospital and every 3 minutes in the UK someone dies of cardiovascular disease.

As a nod to Thales’ work around Space and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing in 1969, we are challenging Thales UK staff to get sponsored to collectively walk the equatorial  circumference of the moon, or around 15,000,000 steps in 12
days!

The aim is for each team of six to walk 60,000 steps a day and raise at least £600 per team for the British Heart Foundation.

All the money raised for BHF will go towards their Nation of lifesavers programme where they have the ambition of providing CPR training aids and teaching CPR to all Secondary Schoolchildren in the UK.  So we will help fund 170 Call Push Rescue kits for schools which will teach up to
25,000 people the vital skills needed to save a life following a cardiac
arrest.

The Red Hot Chilli Steppers need all the help we can so please donate what you can.

Thank you very much!
