Thanks for taking the time to visit LDC Bristol's JustGiving page.

LDC Bristol (Ian, Paul, Rob, Sophie and Tracey joined by special LDC guests Humphrey Walters and Jonathan Caswell)  are going to be running the Bristol Half Marathon on 6th September 2009.

Thus far running shoes are proving a hindrance, the office noticeboard has turned into a 'personal worst' log, excuses and complaining have increased, training plans are already slipping (as at 16th July, Ian 'I don't run' Podmore is charging ahead and Sophie 'I'll wing it' Reed is way behind!). The omens aren't good. Although drafting in some experienced running talent in the form of Humphrey and Jonathan has increased the likelihood of success (for them anyway).

However confidence will rise! And we are keen to support Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal. It is the only charity fundraising exclusively for the Bristol Children’s Hospital and St Michael’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Baby Unit) to provide comforts and facilities for patients and their families. It is an invaluable service and the support it provides for families across the South is second to none.
