Brilliant everyone ....thank you so much for the generous donations on here!!! Xxxxx
Hi....I have set up this second page to use a page for sponsorship for a Sponsored Bike Ride I am taking part in.
My Hubby Stevens brilliant friends came up with the idea of a sponsored Bike Ride from Tullycarnet to Carrickerfergus and back...its approx 30 miles!! Its on Sat 28th May 2011.
I had my 1st real major training session today....did 16 miles and boy its hard work!! Gona to be really tough going but with my lovely hubby up there helping me I know I can do it!!!
So far there is over 80 people taking part, its been so well organised and everyone is really looking forward to a good day with the main aim being to raise funds for the NET Patient Foundation to highlight this rare form of cancer....especially in Northern Ireland as very little is know about it over here and also to help with research into treatments etc....but also we aim to have fun along the way!!
I would just like to say a huge thank you to Stevens friends for all organising this event and all their hard work but also their love and support to us all!!
I do have a paper sponsor sheet I will be torturing people with but wanted to set this page up for anyone who I may not get to see but would still like to sponsor me.....now come on imagine ME cycling 30 miles.....gotta be worth a wee quid or two!!
Thank you for all the money kindly donated to NET to date the support from everyone has been overwhelming and this is only the start!! xxxxxx
