Sadly we lost the beautiful Susan Backshell on 12th January 2011 after a massive battle, that she finally lost to cancer.
In the last 8 months of her life her greatest joy was her little rescue dog Dusty who came to live with her just after her first diagnosis.
He had a rough 3 years before being rescued by the wonderful Four Paws Animal Rescue. It was thanks to them that this bundle of blonde love and fluff came into all our lives.
Four Paws is a charity that is run by volunteers who take these poor creatures into their own homes protecting them from cruelty and in most cases saving a healthy animal from being put to sleep at a pound. These wonderful people nurse them back to health and then find them new "forever" homes.
Their dream is to build their own kennels so that more dogs can be saved.....a dream that Sue and her family share.
It was Mama's last wish that this wonderful charity received support from friends and family so please give generously in her name.
