Our Story

Julie, one of the founding Partners at LJM has had first hand experience of the care and commitment shown by the staff at The Christie as her mum was taken ill last year. Unfortunately , her mum didn’t survive the dreadful disease however, the care shown by the radiologists, surgeons, critical care staff and general ward staff was second to none and touched the hearts of her family.

It therefore became a personal mission for Julie to assist in anyway she could to help the development and research at The Christie and to help mitigate this unforgiving disease so families don’t have to suffer in the way hers have.

Julie says “ Every little donation counts no matter how small and I’m hoping our Clients and Suppliers will help us in our mission to raise as much money as possible this year”.

In addition, Paul our Sales Director has lost two close friends to cancer within the last twelve months.

Both Mark Leighton and Cathy Papworth were treaty at Christie’s and their families had nothing but praise for the fabulous care for both the patient and also for their families at is what a most difficult time.
