Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I'm back again, a fat man running a marathon and not very well!

This will be my seventh marathon and it may be my worst as I've not lost any weight, I'm running all on my own (we couldn't get any other tickets for the rest of the crew) and I've just changed jobs, so my mind hasn't really been on my training

But I'm still running for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, it's still an important appeal and a very good charity so I would appreciate your support. It dose make a difference when I'm out in the cold, snow, rain and wind to know that money is going to a good cause.

Jodie's photo is above from when we finished the Everest Marathon in 2008 , she's got CF and is doing really well from most perspectives and she will be running her next big race in October but there are many others with CF who are much worse off and we need to make a real difference to their lives.

As usual you can also send donations to me at home: Stobbilee House, Witton Gilbert, Durham, DH7 6TW or more efficiently you can use this web site.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
