As most of you will know, I am heading to Uganda in May of this year to visit an amazing place called Isaac's House.

Issacs House is a small charity which supports a group of orphaned children. providing a safe home, education, health care, nutritional food and a loving and nurturing environment. Their efforts don’t end there however as they continue to support their children into adulthood and open their doors to the wider the local community. Many precious residents return to volunteer, paying forward because of the opportunities Issacs House has given them.

As part of the trip we will be spending time with the children, providing educational play, visiting a local disabled children’s centre and potentially carrying out maintenance to the accommodation.

I have decided to fund this trip myself and so every penny donated will go directly to the charity.

I’m also collecting clothes and no-longer used electrical items so if you are having a clear out this lent please let me know and I can come to you to collect!

Every little will help so please spare what you can.
