Lean On Me Challenge · 19 September 2017

Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

On 20th September we are aiming to walk 115 miles
(23 miles each) for Mental Health UK.

We are really proud to be taking part in the ‘Lean on Me Challenge’ and to be part of the wider team of hundreds of colleagues across Lloyds Banking Group volunteering and aiming to raise at least £2 million this year for Mental Health UK.

Mental Health UK is a network of four national charities who have come together to tackle mental illness across the UK; Rethink Mental Illness in England, Hafal in Wales, MindWise in Northern Ireland and Support in Mind Scotland. Mental illness affects more people every year than cancer or heart disease. One in four of us in the UK will be affected by a mental health problem in any given year. Last year Mental Health UK’s health information was accessed over 3.6 million times online. This is a group of charities that we are passionate about, and would be very grateful if you can sponsor us for such a good cause.

You can sponsor us by text too by sending "LOMC73" followed by the amount you would like to donate to 70070.

Tanvi, Angela, Karen, Ailie and Alex
