Story

Welcome All.

Between 20th August and 11th September 2012 I will be trekking to Mount Everest's Base Camp along with some of my University of Portsmouth Collegues.

We will be raising money for VSO an international development charity. They succed in bringing people together to fight the forces and breakdown the barriers which keep impoverished communities locked in the cycle of poverty generation after generation.

Through their unique approach to development, they are changing the lives of millions around the world every day. VSO is different to most other development charities, because instead of sending money or food, they bring people together to share skills and knowledge. Their volunteers spark a chain reaction – their help not only supports individuals, but families, whole communities and entire countries. By working in this way, VSO create lasting change that will endure a lifetime and beyond, and not only a shelf life.

Please help to support me today, and we together with VSO we can change the lives of millions.

There goes an old proverb; give a man a fishing rod, feed him for a day. Teach a man to use a fishing rod, feed him for life.

Thank you
