DONATE £25 AND WIN! Details here. All donations over £25 will go into a draw for some great prizes!

Hi Friends! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 25 April, 2010, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my mother. January 2010 marks 5 years since her passing from a sudden heart attack, and I could think of no better way to honour her memory than to run the marathon in support of an emergency services charity.

Running for St John Ambulance, I am also hoping to raise awareness of the important work that SJA does- providing first-aid training (to people in countries around the world); safety and support at community events; and providing crucial front-line support to the UK’s emergency services.

Additionally, the marathon is 4 months before my 30th birthday, so running it will also be a great personal achievement!

Thank you so much for your support, it means a lot and all donations are very much appreciated.  It’s what will keep me running through the nasty winter weather!

My sincere thanks,

Lisa
