Did you see us on the Channel 5 series Dog Rescuers? We loved having Anthony and Riaz from the RSPCA with us for a week. Please help us rescue and care for more animals in Malawi...
Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals is Malawi's first and leading animal welfare charity caring for dogs, cats, farm animals, donkeys and wildlife. We work closely with the local community to run free veterinary clinics for rabies vaccination, spaying and neutering and to care for farm animals and donkeys. There are less than 10 practising vets in Malawi so our clinics provide life-saving treatment for animals which would never otherwise see a vet. See more on our website: www.lilongwespca.org
We visit schools every week to teach children how to look after their dogs and farm animals. Our foster and adoption scheme provides wonderful 'forever' homes for abandoned animals. We also work closely with the government vets and the police to investigate cases of animal cruelty and educate owners on how to care for their animals. LSPCA is also training the vets of the future by delivering hands-on training for all Malawi vet students.
Your donation will help us to run more clinics and reach more people to improve animal welfare in Malawi. Zikomo kwambiri (thank you very much) from the LSPCA team.
RSPCA is kindly helping us with the administration of all funds raised and will send 100% of all donations straight to the LSPCA.
JustGiving – they’ll never send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to us and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - LSPCA raises more, whilst saving time and cutting costs.
We can save many more animals with your help and will be happy to keep you updated on our work if you include your email address when you donate.
