Lilongwe Society for the Protection and Care of Animals is the only animal welfare charity in Malawi. We work closely with the local community to run free clinics for rabies vaccination, spaying and neutering and to care for farm animals. There are very few vets in Malawi so the LSPCA clinics provide much needed care and treatment for many animals. We visit schools twice a week to teach children how to look after their dogs and farm animals. Our foster and adoption scheme provides wonderful 'forever' homes for abandoned animals.
Here's how your donation will help:
£5 will buy colour posters and leaflets on animal care for a local school.
£10 will vaccinate and spay/neuter a dog or cat.
£20 will vaccinate all the chickens in a village, which are very important to poor local families.
£50 will fund our mobile veterinary clinic for a whole day, treating animals in desperate need of veterinary care.
RSPCA is kindly helping us with the administration of all funds raised and will send 100% of all donations straight to the LSPCA in Malawi.
