Lake District 3 Peaks · 9 February 2006

Round Table Children’s Wish is a registered, charitable company dedicated to granting ‘handcrafted’ wishes for children and young people with life threatening illnesses.

Story

Last year an LST team successfully managed to complete the national 3 peaks challenge within the allotted time of 24 hours.....this year we are trying the 3 peaks again, only this time we plan to walk the 3 highest peaks in the Lake District by completing this between dawn until dusk on the 10th June 2006!!

Why? As with last year we all like the challenge it presents, the (hopefully) improvement in our fitness and the camaraderie of the team, as well as the fantastic support we received for our chosen charities. This year we have chosen three charities, again all of which have a personal link in some form to the team and they are as follows:

Children's Liver Disease Foundation, Round Table Children's Wish & BLESMA - British Limbless Ex-Service Men's Association
