<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">June 30<sup>th</sup> to July the 1<sup>st</sup> 2011</span></span></span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">A team from Smiths News will be attempting a 24hr endurance challenge, walking 50miles (80km) across the Malvern Hills (6+ times!). The challenge includes day/night walking and the ascent/descent of 80 peaks (74 above 1,000ft). The total ascent is the equivalent of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (and back down the same day!). Chris Moyles eat your heart out!</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The length of the walk is the equivalent of walking from Swindon to Worcester or over one hundred thousand steps! The walk will burn off calories to the equivalent of 17 Sunday Roast Dinners or 58 pints of cider/lager!</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The team will be raising money as part of Smiths News’s Community Week for Acorns Children’s Hospice. Acorns provide valuable care and support to the terminally ill and their families. They are a small Midlands based charity and every penny raised will go towards continuing their excellent work.</span></span></p>
