We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

In pursuit of a lifetime adventure for a good cause and to celebrate our 50th Birthdays, Andy Honess and Richard Torr are taking on a major 1200 mile cycling challenge.

We are ably assisted by Mark Plumb, our highly valued, support vehicle driver and "doctor".

We decided it was about time to mark that half century with an wild adventure that would also help reduce the waistline (at least for two of us!).

On the 23rd April 2016 (St. George's Day), we will dip our toes in the town pond of Kenilworth, Warwickshire and ride 1200 miles through France to near Cannes to finish the adventure by dipping our toes in the Med!

Our charity inspiration lies with some close friends,  lead by Michelle Reid, who are proof that the world is beating cancer and we want to celebrate their strength, endurance and bravery and the impact Cancer Research is having - these ladies are great examples to us all. Michelle kindly nominated our chosen charity Breast Cancer Now.

Wish us luck and dedicated commitment to training!
