Every time I turn on the telly I am confronted by the suffering of children. It's not only those fleeing the violence in Syria, but kids are being displaced everywhere, and often becoming lost or orphaned in the process.

That's why we have decided to turn our summer sailing trip from Arzal to La Rochelle (a round trip of approx. 300 miles) into a sponsored challenge. We're starting on July 24th. and returning to Arzal by September 1st. so you can donate right now and throughout August if you feel so inclined. Any money you donate goes straight to Save the Children, an organisation uniquely equipped to make things better for these kids, many of whom will be severely traumatised for a long, long time, and desperately need our support.
