After passing the half century mark in our lives my husband Surjit and I thought it would be a good idea to try and climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania ! -while we still could -we hope .The time since has flown by and we climb on 20th October .We would like to use the opportunity to support a very worthwhile charity -Demelza which provides hospice care for children locally and support for their families  .Their motto is -

"Adding life to days when days cannot be added to life ."

which says it all really .
