Story

Thank you for visiting Lambeth Law Centre's fundraising page for the 2009 London Legal sponsored walk.

In common with all Law Centres and other social welfare specialist legal advice agencies across London we have been severely affected by changes to our LSC contracts. We are finding it very hard to survive as both our cash flow and income have been undermined.

BUT

We are determined to continue to provide a high quality service for the most disadvantaged people in Lambeth.  We continue to see an increased demand for our services due to the diminishing availability of legal aid lawyers in Lambeth and the recession.

So please dig deep and sponsor us online.

We are seeking to fundraise £5,000 from the walk to help us take on a new paralegal or trainee solicitor to help us increase our services, and to bring new people into the diminishing supply of legal aid lawyers.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: London Legal Support Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer and they give all of it to Lambeth Law Centre, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
