Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. On Christmas day this year I will be running a half marathon in Chang Mai, Thailand. I am running this marathon to fundraise money to save an elephant. I know you all know I am in Thailand teaching english but since arriving in this beautiful country I have learned about the animal cruelty that elephants go through.
Asian elephants are an endangered species and sadly their freedom is abused and they are forced to work long hours to financially support their owners. With your help the money fundraised will help to rescue 1 elephant and place it in GVI's tender loving care. Once recovered by GVI it will be placed in our elephant sanctuary with the other 5 elephants.
I am aiming to fundraise 350 pounds = 550$. Any little amount will help. Please pass this onto anyone and everyone you know.
