Story
I will be taking part in a 5Mile walk on Sunday 8th April 2012 (Easter Sunday). This is part of the Pillars to Plough, Brighton to Crawley sponsored walk organised by Ifield Chestnut House.
I have decided to take part to raise money for The Olive Tree Cancer support centre, based in Crawley. They are an independent charity who offer support to both cancer patients and their carers/families.
Over the past few months I’ve personally lost loved ones due to cancer, and I would like to raise as much money as I can to help others who will be less fortunate to go through what I experienced. This is especially in memory of my Granddad John Yardley who I sadly lost in the summer of 2011 who gave me memories I will cherish forever. Also a dear cousin Mike North and an inspiring lady called Margret doe, who if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be able to stand here today and say I was once British winter guard champion.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Every Penny will help support these cancer patients and their families so please donate!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
