Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

This on-going page has been set up for the dedicated staff of Alzheimer Scotland who in various ways will be fundraising to help continue the valued support we give to people with dementia and their families in Lanarkshire, and raising awareness of dementia. Our latest campaign is fundraising for a New Dementia Resource Centre in the Heart of Lanarkshire!

The Resource Centre, which will be the first of it's kind in Lanarkshire, will have a Knowledge Zone with Information and Resources for people dropping in and will be the central location for all services to be managed from.  It will offer a Quiet Room for visitors to the Centre as well as a Training Room for Staff and Carers.

We kick start our fundraising  with a Memory Walk on the 30th Sept at Drumpellier Park Coatbridge, starting at 1pm.  Taking part in the walk will be staff members, service users and family & friends.
