Story
My nephew, George, was born with cancerous tumours on both of his adrenal glands. These were surgically removed in the Pendlebury Childrens hospital when he was 11 weeks old. My sister lived in an armchair for a week whilst George was in hospital. She subsequently formed a charity which raised funds to equip a parents' rest unit for that hospital, I ran the Sheffield marathon to contribute to her charity. Twenty one years later, I intend to run the Tidworth 10k to help the equivalent project at Salisbury hospital. This is a unit which is much needed. Please help by sponsoring me. By the way, George is now a wonderful, healthy young man: a role model and a symbol of hope to all poorly children.
