Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Ben and Dave Langley are going to run a marathon: we've chosen the Amsterdam marathon on 17th October 2010. It's a great personal challenge and a lot of fun for us. At the same time we would like to use the occasion to help our favourite charity: The Stroke Association (www.stroke.org.uk). Our Dad suffered from a number of severe strokes and it seriously reduced the quality of his life. We believe that this could have been prevented. The Stroke Association funds research to improve prevention, such as how to recognize and follow up stroke warning events. They also fund research into treatment, rehabilitation and long-term care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
