On November 9, me, Rory Walton, Amie Booth, Chris Tregilgas and Procopis Kyriacou, along with other CBRE teams across the UK we will be taking part in Row 50 for CBRE's charity partner, Action for Children.  Relaying in five minute stints, the five us will be rowing until we reach a combined distance of 50Km which is estimated to take between 3.5-4 hours...but in our case may take significantly longer! 

It’s a tough challenge, but with every stroke we row will help create safe and stable homes for 700 children currently in the care system.

From before they are born until they are into their twenties, Action for Children helps disadvantaged children across the UK.  Action for Children help through fostering or adoption – and by intervening early to stop neglect and abuse.  Action for Children make life better for children with disabilities.  Action for Children influence policy and advocate for change. Their 7,000 staff and volunteers operate over 522 services, improving the lives of 301,000 children, teenagers, parents and carers every year.
