The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

It's been nearly a year since my nan, Irene, passed away after suffering with cancer.

I could tell you that my nan was "so brave" or "stayed strong until the end" but instead I want to tell you the truth. My nan was mental. Seriously, she used to dance to Dizzee Rascal with me to make me laugh, she swore blind that Lucozade could cure any cold and her favourite expression was "if you can't fight, wear a big hat" which to this day I do not understand!

She was a funny, caring, loving woman and the fact that she had cancer sucked so if I can help someone with cancer just a tiny bit, then I will do anything I can to make that possible.

I am cutting my hair short and donating what is cut to the Little Princess Trust to make a wig for a child who has lost their hair, possibly due to cancer.

Please donate, even if it's just £1, and on the 1st September I will donate a large amount of my hair. Thank you.
