<p>Hello Everyone!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As of the 27th August i will be flying out of Heathrow Airport on my way to Tanzania, East Africa with my eventual destination Kilimajaro airport! From there the real adventure begins, consisting of a 5 day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro.....</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Kili stands at 19,340 feet (5,895 meters) making it the highest mountain in Africa, so it will be a major challenge! Trekking up to heights like this i will have to contend with altitude sickness and temperatures potentially plunging to -20 at the summit!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>So why would anyone want to put themselves through this?? Well not only will it be a great experience with 3 friends but i will also be raising money for Moorfields Eye Hospital.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As most of you are aware my Dad had some very important treatment there over a year ago now.
