Story

Well, the big day was on Saturday and I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone for your support, donations and especially those friends and family who came out and supported/cheered/and fed us on the day, it means so much. Myself and Tomsy (my running partner – wouldn’t have gotten though it without each other!) managed to run over 30 miles out of the 50 and completed the whole 50 in 11 hours 45 minutes, putting us pretty much in the middle of the results table, coming in at 129th place out of 208.  I am incredibly proud of what we achieved, but god it was painful! And I have the sore muscles to prove it. Day 2 of recovery and getting out of bed this morning was marginally better than yesterday!

As I said above thanks so much to those who sponsored me, you are welcome to continue to donate both on and off-line, I must say it seems all the more worth while a fundraiser afterwards, no point putting your body through that without a reason!!!!

I’m sure there will be some pretty awful photo evidence on Facebook and my Just Giving pages for you all to laugh at very soon!

THANK YOU once again, here’s to the next challenge!
