<p>Hi All,&nbsp; Thanks for taking the time to look on my JustGiving page.&nbsp;&nbsp; I'm running the London marathon this year (yikes!) and any support received would be amazing&nbsp;to help raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>This cause is very personal to me as it's something me and my family have experienced first hand.&nbsp; My beautiful baby niece Florence Grace was born in February 2010 fit and healthy and we were all very excited as she was the first grandchild of the family.&nbsp; At just 3 weeks old Florence contracted meningitis and septicaemia and was rushed to hospital where the doctors and nurses had to act fast to help save her life.&nbsp;&nbsp; After a long stay in Great Ormond Street, Florence was allowed to come home but she has been left with brain damage and is blind.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>This foundation works towards improving survival rates, outcomes and promoting awareness.&nbsp; I would be over the moon with any donation no matter how big or small as every little helps.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Thank you for taking the time to read this and wish me luck ;-) !!!<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>xxx</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
