<p class="MsoNormal">Hello everyone!<br> As some of you know this year I have been lucky enough to be offered a place in the February 2012 live final to compete for the title of Miss Universe Wales; the qualifier of Miss Universe which is one of the biggest and most prestigious pageants in the world.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">As part of the build up to the competition I have set about to raise funds and awareness for a breast cancer charity named The Haven, which provides, (completely free of charge), a wide range of expert therapies which help people to deal with the physical and emotional side effect of breast cancer. It is part of the Hemraj Goyal Foundation, which helps lots of different causes.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Every year almost 50,000 women in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, which startlingly works out to be one person every ten minutes. It effects 1 in 8 women, and also roughly 300 men are diagnosed a year too. This is my eyes makes it such a relevant and prevalent cause to support.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">It is a cause very close to my heart, as I am sure it is too for many of you reading this, as it has recently affected one of my very close relatives. Luckily, due to therapy, they have made a full recovery, hence showing me the importance of the support that this charity provides.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">To raise funds for this cause I am collecting donations. I am also selling rubber wristbands in bars, and charity events are soon to follow! The money raised will go directly to the charity, so you can be assured your donations will make a great difference to someone&rsquo;s life.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have set up this account if anyone would wish to make a donation straight through the just giving process!
