We did it!!

Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. I don't need to go on, I'm sure you all know how much your support means to us.

For those of you who like detail, Martyn finished in 1hr 35mins and I limped in after a shameful 2hrs 4mins. Nearly everyone had gone home by then!!

Martyn and I are planning to run the Worksop Half Marathon on 25 October 2009 and would like to ask for your help. Normally when we run we do it for fun (sort of) but this time we would like to ask for your help in raising some funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

We are doing this in memory of Janet (Nettie) Murphy, my Mum's life-long friend who sadly died on 6 October 2009 following a car crash.

Staff from the Air Ambulance service attended the scene and air lifted Nettie to hospital where despite the very best of care she died a few days later.

We'd like to do our bit to keep the air ambulance flying and would really appreciate any donations you are able to give. Every little helps.
