Epilepsy is a neurological condition, which means it affects the brain. It is also a physical condition, because the body is affected when someone has a seizure. These seizures happen when there is a sudden interruption in the way the brain normally works.

 

Laura Collins is giving up chocolate and fizzy drinks for 9 months (until August 2010)! This is because she wants to raise money for the people who have epilepsy and to help people become aware of this condition.
