Story

Hello!

I decided to sign up for a half marathon, because I've been thinking about it for too long and I just need to do it!

I want to raise money for CBTRC because they have helped many families, thanks to ongoing research conducted at the Uni of Nottingham. Findings have lead to the development of safer methods for treating children's brain tumours and more efficient diagnosis. Any funding will support further research and could potentially contribute to speeding up the recovery process, identifying the causes of  brain tumours in children and providing the support that families need in such emotionally challenging circumstances. This research could set children up for a much happier childhood and therefore life.

Whilst studying Dietetics this year, I have discovered many conditions caused by genetics and the environment, which has made me extremely grateful that a medical condition never disrupted my life. All children should be given equal chances in life and so I would be incredibly grateful for any donations to contribute to such a worthy cause.
