Spinnaker Tower Abseil · 24 June 2017 to 25 June 2017 ·

FitzRoy transforms the lives of people with learning disabilities. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do. We work with them wherever they need us, at home or in the community, so we can help them find independence, support, and a voice about things that matter to them.

Story

On 24th June 2017, Fitzroy will be taking over the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth for a day of fundraising. It is taller than Big Ben and I will be abseiling from 100m up (328 feet), with phenomenal views over the Solent!

I am looking to raise over £150 which is an amazing charity that transforms the lives of people with learning disabilities, helping them to live the life they choose, independent and safe from harm and doing the things we all take for granted. Basepoint are matching our total funding £1 for £1 - so every little helps!

'Love4Life' based in Fareham is a project that allows people with learning disabilities to meet and make new friends in a safe & supported environment. With a chaperoned dating service, it also gives people with disabilities a chance to meet that special person and find love.

The 'Rural Skills Project' in East Meon enables people with disabilities to grow fruit and veg and learn horticulture and woodcraft skills in a rural setting.

These are just two of the amazing Fitzroy projects that proceeds will go towards - your money really will help to transform lives! :)
