Leukaemia&Lymphoma Research

This page has been set up to honour the memory of Spencer Steel. Spencer was an accomplished musician, a published author and a marathon runner. Most importantly, Spencer was my friend. He passed away in 2010, at age 38.
From the day he was diagnosed, Spencer set up a blog, mainly so that he could keep his huge network of friends updated on his situation. This blog has become a massive support to many people across the world, and is a testament to Spencer's warm and giving nature, as well as his dark and cutting sense of humour! Read his story, and see why he meant so much to so many.
In March 2011, musician Frank Turner agreed to help me to raise money for Leukeamia and Lymphoma Research. Over 1 weekend he played 3 last minutes shows in 2 different cities, and urged the crowds to make a donation. This raised over £2000!
I've set up this page as many people have contacted me, and said that even though they couldn't make it to the shows, they would still like to contribute. It will also enable Spencer’s many friends to donate, and know that his memory will live on through the amazing work of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
Please give whatever you can, £1, 50p, anything. It will all add up, and it will all make a difference, just like Spencer made a difference to so many people in his short life
Thank you.
