Way of the Roses - Coast to Coast · 13 July 2017

Hull & East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre (Daisy Appeal) opened in 2008. The charity built the Jack Brignall PET-CT Scanning Centre in 2014. In 2024 we built a Molecular Imaging Research Centre to produce PET CT tracers. We are fundraising for a £3m digital scanner to help save more lives.

Story

This year I will be cycling the Coast to Coast to raise money for the Daisy Appeal. The Daisy appeal does great work to improve the lives for people in Hull and East Yorkshire area.

The charity is currently raising funds to create a Molecular Imaging Research Centre at Castle Hill Hospital (where I work). The facility will house the first GE GENtrace cyclotron in the UK. This will help to improve lives.
