I, along with a number of other colleagues/friends, have decided amongst a variety of wonderful people to raise some money for Care of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S)  by cycling in June from London to Paris. Unfortunately covid stopped the L to P so it’s now become a UK bike ride. 

This particular charity is one that is significant to all those riding, as it’s one that a means something to us all both personally and professionally and so it sits close to our hearts. 

C.O.P.S helps support the families and colleagues of Officers that have been killed/died in the line of duty by providing counselling and peer support, amongst other things, in order to assist in the rebuilding of their lives after such tragic events.

I’ll be frank with you all, this ride is going to be an incredibly tough undertaking!!!!!!!! I know how to ride a bicycle but I wouldn’t say I’m an avid cyclist. 

So I’m hoping that with some training, a large sprinkle of luck and a tremendous amount of utter determination I shall find myself stood beneath the Arc De Triomphe a tad saddle sore, aching like nobodies business BUT immensely happy and incredibly proud to have taken part in an epic venture  for such an incredible cause.

So anything you can give folks would mean the world!!!
