Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I started walking the route of 'Kidnapped' four years ago, with Trevor and a friend. We set off from Erraid, crossed Mull and the Morvern peninsula and got to the Corran ferry. Later that year I was stopped in my tracks by a bout of depression which lasted for over a year, and caused a lot of grief for me and all those around me. I am now fine, so Trevor and I are setting off to complete this route, walking some 180 miles from Ballachulish to Corstophine, in aid of The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust starting on the 14th of September.
This Trust was established in 1998 and constantly needs funds to continue its work.
1 in 4 of the population suffers from depression at some point in their lives.
I am sure you will have been touched either directly or indirectly by someone with depression and would agree this is a worthy cause to support.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much for your support.
Trevor and I are now back home, and feeling rather fit.............well Trevor is asleep actually. We had a great walk, and only got wet twice in eleven days. Thank you so much to all who contributed to the Charlie Waller Fund. Photos and a fuller account to follow.
