Everyone at Hodder who knew and loved her have already contributed over £300 to Lifeblood, the charity that increases awareness of thrombosis raises research funds to improve patient care through improved prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease. It also enables anyone who wants to donate further in Laura's name to do so.

Laura was, to quote her friend Anselm: 'Frivolous, fun, elegant, always upbeat, a brilliant confidante, calm, collected, uniquely cool, outgoing, enthusiastic, hilarious, delightful.  She was so positive, so fun, a light in so many people’s lives… and such a very, very good friend'.
