I work as a vet at the RSPCA Harmsworth hospital where I have been for 3 years. When I applied for the job I wrote that if I got it I would run the marathon to raise money for them, so this is what I am doing! all proceeds raised will go directly to the hospital, who provide veterinary care for injured and ill strays in north London, and low cost treatment for those animals who's owners are unable to afford private vet care. We have a great team, who work very hard around the clock to help animals.

I am not a natural runner, so this is a massive challenge for me, and training so far I have found tough (only found out recently that reading Mo Farah's autobiography does NOT count as training!). this will be my first and last marathon, so please sponsor me!
