Why do I want to keep GWL running? The simple answer is that I would not have become an Archivist without opportunities that came from the Library. On a cold, dark evening in 2006 I arrived at the Library for an open night exploring the Lesbian Archive. From that moment on, I was hooked by archives and the hidden stories they revealed. 

Without GWL, I would not have had the confidence to look for volunteering opportunities. Without GWL, I would not have been able to gain experience to apply for a traineeship in archives. Without GWL, I would not be able to call myself an Archivist. 

I am just one of the many women that GWL has helped over its twenty one years. Help keep the Library running by sponsoring me in the 10K.
