Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.
Ross and Lauren are doing a sky dive on the 25th April for charity.
Any donations we receive will go to The Rowans Hospice.
Lauren is sooooo nervous but knowing that she is doing this for such a good cause and that we want to raise as much money as possible is making her want to do it. She already have butterflies in her tummy. (wimp!)
Ross on the other hand, having been trained to become the latest 007 (and owning a license to thrill) will just dive out and shoot some baddies on the way down! (Yeah right!)
On the 8th May the fundraising for The Rowans will be continuing because Ross has organised a auction and raffle at The Centurion Pub (Crookhorn, Waterloville) where tickets will be available. Some of the auction lots are quite exquisite ranging from a signed 1966 world cup training shirt to a frank Bruno signed boxing glove! Tickets will be available from the centurion pub direct or contact us for more details.
We have all been touched sometimes in our lives by knowing someone that has had to deal with this disease. For all the people that have lost their battle, this jump is for them and the family and friends they have left behind. The Rowans Hospice is a local charity, which provides specialist Hospice care and support to patients with life limiting illness living in and South East Hampshire, their relatives and carers. This is a charity very close to our hearts and really deserves more credit for the fantastic work that they do for our families and friends.
We would like to thank Simon and Andi for donating this SKY DIVE FOR TWO to us so we can raise money for The Rowans. Without them this massive fundraising event would not be happening. (we did hear that they were to chicken to do it, but were not to sure how true this is!!!!!)
So please dig deep and donate now. (pocket fluff and buttons not accepted!) It really does not matter whether its 10p or £10 grand!
(So if your rich, I mean mega mega mega rich like my mate Mikey) you should consider the top end of this bracket for a donation!)
However for the normal 99.99% of us that don’t live in the same cookoo land as Ross it’s the thought and prosperity of your donation that will help towards this worthy cause continue the good work they do.
Thank you
Ross & Lauren
